Club Resources

Library

We have a collection of books, DVDs, leaflets, newsletters related to life before and after a multiple pregnancy, and selected children’s books. The library is free for all members with items available for borrowing.

Breastfeeding Support

Breastfeeding multiples can be a challenging task, especially in the early days when you arrive home from hospital. Ann Bell is one of our life members and is available for breastfeeding advice on 0400827640

Higher Order Multiples

The Club also offers support and contact for families that have or are expecting triplets, quadruplets. Call the New Parent Contact

Prem Baby Clothes Loan

We have a box of good quality pre-loved 0000 & 00000 baby clothes available to loan to members who find themselves in the unexpected position of having premature multiples. Call our Club phone for more information.

Hospital Home Visiting

You can request a hospital or home visit by getting in touch with us or by asking hospital staff to do so on your behalf. You will probably have many questions that only other multiple birth parents could answer. Please call the Club to arrange a visit.

Expectant Parents Information Night

These information sessions are held twice a year and provide an excellent opportunity to meet other multiple parents, listen to a presentation from a local midwife and obstetrician and ask questions about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and adjusting to life with twins or more.

Playgroup

Coffee mornings are organised each month on different days of the week for parents who are not able to make it to Friday playgroup. The location varies from local parks, coffee shops or member’s homes. See our newsletter or facebook page for upcoming events.

Social Events

We hold social activities throughout the year, which are always very popular. These include: outings for the whole family, girls night out, dads night out, couples dinner, family picnics and an annual Christmas party.

Monthly Newsletter

“Multiple Magic” is our informative and entertaining newsletter which is emailed to members 11 times per year. It contains our Club calendar of upcoming events, interesting articles, information and anecdotal stories written by our own members. For many, it is a lifeline – helping them feel connected.

Committee Meetings

These are evening meetings held monthly in different restaurants/cafes. They are informal meetings where activities and general running of the Club are undertaken. All members are welcome to attend meetings and are encouraged to get involved. See the Club newsletter for the next venue.
